Forehead lines*- Repetitive elevation of the eyebrows using the Frontalis muscle produces visible forehead lines which overtime, can give an aged appearance as the lines become visible even at rest. Anti-wrinkle injections into these muscles relax the muscle in order to reduce dynamic lines and prevent the deepening of static creases while maintaining natural movement when dosed correctly.

Treating this area can be done as a preventative measure also, offering more optimal results as lines are not fixed into the skin at this stage. Very deep lines may not always be entirely eliminated at aesthetic doses but will still provide noticeable softening of these lines.

At Aesthetics by Noir, included in the crow's feet treatment is an optional Brow lift at no additional cost. Anti-wrinkle injection here weakens the downward pull on the brows, effectively creating a brow lift to give a more open, refreshed appearance.

Bunny lines- Lines on the sides of the nose form overtime due to repetitive contraction through scrunching of the nose. Anti-wrinkle injections here softens these lines to create a smoother nasal bridge and side profile.

Gummy smile- When the upper lift elevates too high due to strong levator muscles. Anti-wrinkle injections will relax these muscles, lowering the upper lip slightly so less gum is visible when smiling.

Downturned corners of the mouth(DAO)- The muscle pulls the corners of the mouth downwards creating a sad or tired expression. Anti-wrinkle treatment will reduce the activity of this muscle and in turn improve facial balance allowing the corners of the mouth to appear more neutral or slightly lifted depending on how depressed they were prior to treatment.

Dimpled/Pebble chin- Overactivity of the muscle in the chin area can cause a dimpled or pebbled appearance when talking or expressing emotions. Anti-wrinkle treatment here smooths the chin surface and improve facial harmony.

Masseter for Jaw Slimming or Teeth grinding- Treatment of the masseter area is a very popular treatment both for aesthetic(jawline slimming) and functional(teeth grinding) indications. The master muscles can enlarge due to teeth grinding or clenching allowing a more wide-set masculine facial profile. Enlargement of this muscle can result in jaw pain, headaches and even damage to the teeth. Relaxing the master muscle with anti-wrinkle injections relieves this tension, reduces muscle size and has a slimming effect on the lower face creating a more feminine, refined look. If muscle activity is uneven, the treatment can also fix facial asymmetry caused by this.

* If treating the forehead lines, it is advisable to treat the frown lines also to prevent a heavy, drooping eyebrow caused by the relaxation of the frontalis muscle which is the muscle that naturally pulls the brows upwards.
